About
Nicky Withers
BSc, RCST
I have been in practice as a Craniosacral Therapist since 2004 and worked in complementary healthcare for 30 years.
In 1990 I set up in practice as a Remedial Massage therapist. Soon after, I graduated with a BSc in Osteopathy and was busy with my osteopathy practice when I was introduced to Craniosacral Therapy (CST).
I was amazed that a therapy so subtle could create such profound changes not just in my body but my whole being. After training at The Karuna Institute, I gave up osteopathy preferring the less mechanical approach that CST offered.
Life throws all sorts of challenges at us, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I have a deep appreciation of our capacity to move through these challenges and heal ourselves. My life’s work has been to offer my skills where extra help is needed.
Alongside my practice, I have enjoyed teaching for the last 10 years at The Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust in London. As a registered Supervisor, it’s great to be able to use my clinical experience to support qualified Craniosacral therapists develop in their work.
I am registered and insured with The Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) and a member of the CSTA Supervision committee.
